Summer Reading

Don't you just love it when you  fall in love with a book in the first couple of pages?  I do.  It is raining outside and I have a million things to do, as we just got back from Maine last night and I leave again on Wednesday... All I want to do is read but with a dirty house, crazed children, and loads of laundry and suitcases to unpack, it will not happen until bedtime tonight.  I have lots of great pictures from our travels to post as well, but that will not happen until I return next week.  So immediately go and get this book, I will call the library shortly and have them order it as well,  The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.  I, of course, would love to hear your comments... P.S.    I also love it when I come across a word that I had forgotten about when I am reading.  In this case, it was the word snarky.   I keep a dictionary by my bed, so that I can look it up and know exactly what it means.
